Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan., is close to finalizing its acquisition of Galichia Heart Hospital in Witchita, according to a Wichita Eagle report.
The deal is set to close within the first quarter of 2012. Wesley — not its parent company, HCA — will acquire the facility. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Galichia includes 82 acute-care beds and a 14-bed emergency department.
