Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, based in Nasvhille, Tenn., has opened an outpatient cancer center at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield, Tenn.
The new center will extend VICC's reach to middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky. It will be staffed by Vanderbilt physicians and offer chemotherapy in addition to access to Vanderbilt's clinical research trials.
The opening of the center follows a recent affiliation between Vanderbilt University Medical Center and NorthCrest Medical Center to collaborate on regional health services.
