Truman Medical Centers Dedicates New Cancer Center

Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City, Mo., has announced the dedication of its new expanded and relocated cancer center, scheduled to open in 2014.

The Richard and Annette Bloch Cancer Center at Truman Medical Centers, at 17,000 square feet, will be three times the size of the existing unit and will feature 16 chemotherapy infusion rooms and 10 exam rooms.

A $2.3 million gift from the R. A. Bloch Cancer Foundation will help endow the $6 million center.
