Seton Hospital Opens ICU, Cardiology Wing

Austin, Texas-based Seton Hospital has opened a 57,000-square-foot intensive care and cardiology wing updating the old specialty spaces, which were built in the 1970s, according to a report from local KXAN news.

The $48 million wing features larger patient rooms, more natural light and space conducive to modern technology, according to the report. It also increases the intensive care unit's capacity by 30 beds.

Seton Hospital will close the old intensive care unit for renovations in stages, according to the report.
