Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg, Pa., has opened its new $31 million Dale and Frances Hughes Cancer Center, according to a Pocono Record report.
The 60,000-square-foot facility includes a PET/CT scanner, a medical and surgical oncology center, a chemotherapy center, physician offices and consultation rooms.
The new center replaces an 8,000-square-foot cancer wing across the street, which will be torn down and converted into a new parking area.
