Salem (Ore.) Hospital and five medical groups have signed a collaboration agreement to create the Salem Health Heart & Vascular Institute, according to a Salem Health news release.
More than 20 specialists from Salem CardioVascular Associates, Salem Clinic, Salem Heart Center, The Oregon Clinic and Willamette Vascular Specialists will partner with the hospital to collect and evaluate data and apply their findings to care delivery. Their goal is to provide patients with seamless cardiovascular treatment.
The institute is expected to attract more research, clinical trials and heart specialists with expertise in cutting-edge treatments.
