Omaha, Neb.-based Children's World, a pediatric complex care center run by Omaha-based Children's Hospital and Medical Center, will close Oct. 1, according to a report from local WOWT 6 News.
Children's World has experienced a decrease in patient volumes and an increase in regulatory requirements, which make insurance approval difficult for many families, according to the report.
Patients from Children's World will be able to seek care at independent, Omaha-based Children's Respite Care Center, according to the report.
