Mercy Medical Center in Iowa Opens $24.9M Cancer Center

Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, announced the opening of its new cancer center.

The Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, built adjacent to the hospital, cost $24.9 million, according to a CBS 2 report. The 86,000-square-foot center provides comprehensive cancer services in one location, including a radiology center, an image recovery center, a laboratory, a pharmacy, infusion suites, an exercise facility, a community room, two gardens, a resource library and a meditation area.

Patient care is beginning on the third floor. The center will be fully operational in June.
