Milwaukee-based Froedtert Health & The Medical College of Wisconsin will join the Elekta and Phillips Research Consortium to evaluate a new MRI and radiation combination cancer therapy, according to a report from The Fort Mill Times.
The new therapy provides clinicians with real-time imaging during radiation therapy.
Frodetert and MCW will help the consortium develop clinical applications for the new technology along with other consortium members from the United States, Canada and the Netherlands.
