Frankfort (Ky.) Regional Medical Center announced a new partnership with Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Ky., and the University of Louisville for specialty pediatric care.
The partnership aims to extend specialty pediatric care to patients close to home. Under the agreement, specialists from Kosair Children's Hospital and the University of Louisville's department of pediatrics have begun seeing patients on an outpatient basis at Kosair Children's Outpatient Center-Frankfort, which is in the Frankfort Medical Pavilion adjacent to Frankfort Regional.
Pediatric specialty offerings include endocrinology, gastroenterology, nephrology, orthopedics, urology and surgery. Frankfort Regional plans to offer more specialties in the future.
