Don Berkwick, MD, former CMS administrator, has joined the Center for American Progress, a progressive political think tank, as a senior fellow, according to a Washington Post report.
Dr. Berwick served as head of CMS from July 2010 through December 2011. He holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard College, a master's in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a medical degree from Harvard Medical School.
