Johnston Memorial Hospital, based in Abingdon, Va., will unveil a new 350,000-square foot replacement facility July, according to a Bristol Herald Courier report.
The $176.5-million hospital will feature a 29-room emergency department, a 128-slice computed tomography scanner, and a 3 Telsa wide-bore MRI.
Additionally, JMH has been designed to be the first LEED certified hospital in Southwest Virginia.
