Brunswick Novant Medical Center in Supply, N.C., will officially open on July 31, according to a news release from the hospital.
The 74-bed facility will replace the aging, 60-bed Brunswick Community Hospital, which is currently an affiliate of Novant Health. The new hospital will feature four observation rooms, five operating rooms, a 24-hour emergency department, maternity center and intensive and progressive care units.
The new facility also boasts all private patient rooms, room-service style dining and wireless Internet access throughout the facility.
