New York's Schuyler Hospital to Stop Admitting Inpatient Births

After nearly a year of evaluation and research, Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls, N.Y., will no longer provide inpatient deliveries of babies due to decreasing volumes, according to a hospital news release.

Expectant mothers will be delivered at a partner healthcare facility in the area, effective Nov. 1. However, emergency deliveries will still be handled by the hospital's emergency department and the hospital will continue to provide a wide variety of gynecological services.
