Mercer County Hospital in Aledo, Ill., has seen a $1.2 million turnaround from last year, according to a Quad-City Times report.
The hospital recorded a $700,000 loss last June. Preliminary year-end numbers for fiscal year 2010 showed a positive bottom line of just under $465,000, according to the report.
The hospital experienced a revenue increase, as well as decreased expenses and lower salaries.
