Kernersville (N.C.) Medical Center, part of Novant Health, has officially opened its doors to the public, according to a Winston-Salem Journal news report.
The new hospital features a full range of medical services, including a 24-hour emergency department with 24 treatment rooms, 46 inpatient hospital beds with a four-bed intensive care unit, inpatient and outpatient surgery services as well as diagnostics and other support services, according to the hospital's website.
Joanne Allen, RN, BSN, MHA, will serve as the president of Kernersville Medical Center.
