Hospitals in the United States added approximately 10,000 jobs in April, according to a news release by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Hospitals employed roughly 4.73 million workers in March 2011 on a seasonally adjusted basis. This number rose to 4.74 million in April.
Since April 2010, hospitals have added nearly 60,000 jobs on a seasonally adjusted basis.
