Hospitals added 4,100 jobs in May, an increase of 0.09 percent compared to April, according to a recent report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
In May, hospitals employed 4,744,200 million people on a seasonally adjusted basis, up from 4,740,100 the month prior. Since May 2010, hospitals have added 65,700 workers, according to report.
Seasonal adjustment removes the effect of fluctuations due to seasonal events.
