Carl Myers, MD, has resigned from his post as vice president of medical affairs and CMO of Yuma (Ariz.) Regional Medical Center, effective immediately, according to a Yuma Sun report.
Dr. Myers has been with YRMC since October 2011. During his time at the hospital, he created and implemented a comprehensive community health improvement plan, among other accomplishments.
"He is truly a transformative leader whose vision has positioned YRMC to build on his many successes," Camie Overton, the hospital's acting CEO, told the Yuma Sun.
No reason for Dr. Myers' resignation was reported.
