Marietta, Ga.-based WellStar Health System named Mark Haney senior vice president of real estate, facilities and development services, according to a Marietta Daily Journal report.

1. Most recently, Mr. Haney served as president of WellStar Paulding Hospital in Hiram, Ga., a role he held since 2009.
2. In 2014, he helped move the hospital to a replacement facility. He oversaw the design and construction of the new facility.
3. He has worked at WellStar for 39 years.
