University Hospital in Newark, N.J., has appointed James Gonzalez as its president and CEO, according to a report by The Star-Ledger.
University Hospital, which had been part of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, recently became a standalone hospital when UMDNJ dissolved.
Most recently, Mr. Gonzalez served as the hospital's interim president, according to the report.
