UAB Medicine in Birmingham, Ala., announced that Reid F. Jones will serve in the newly created role of COO.
Most recently, Mr. Jones served as executive vice president and senior vice president of ambulatory services of the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation in Birmingham.
Mr. Jones has been an administrator at UAB Medicine for more than 20 years.
