William Heburn has been appointed interim CEO at Galesburg Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Ill., while the hospital selects a permanent CEO, according to the Galesburg Register-Mail.
Mr. Heburn most recently served as CEO of Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala., and has 37 years of hospital management experience. He will start his job at Cottage on July 6.
Former Cottage CEO Ken Hutchenrider will begin his duties as president of Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, Texas, in July.
