The Memorial Hospital in Craig, Colo., has named John Rossfeld as its permanent CEO.
Mr. Rossfeld has served as the hospital's interim CEO since January. His permanent placement follows a series of short-lived tenures by other CEOs, which caused "some consternation among hospital staff and community members," according to a report in the Craig Daily Press.
"When John notified the board that he was interested in staying, there was a collective sigh of relief," Board Vice Chairman Forrest Luke said in the news release. "We have seen so much progress in six months, and we didn't want to lose forward momentum. We are confident that John's experience in both large and small hospitals and communities will benefit TMH."
