Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. has named Daniel R. Waldmann as its first senior vice president of public affairs.
The new role will oversee the hospital operator's public affairs, government relations and communications functions and will report to Tenet President and CEO Trevor Fetter.
Mr. Waldmann has served as vice president of government relations at Tenet since 2005. Prior to joining Tenet, he served as director of federal affairs and reimbursement for Johnson & Johnson, where he managed the company's advocacy efforts on Medicare reimbursement and other health policy issues.
