Tenet Healthcare in Dallas has named (pdf) Tim Adams as senior vice president of operations for its central states region.
As senior vice president of operations, Mr. Adams will oversee all strategic, operational and clinical activities of the region's 14 acute-care hospitals.
Mr. Adams served for five years as division vice president of Brentwood, Tenn.-based Community Health System's 18 Texas hospitals. He has also served as division president of Franklin, Tenn.-based Iasis Healthcare's Florida hospitals. Most recently, Mr. Adams served as CEO of Cedar Park (Texas) Regional Medical Center. He has previously held several executive positions at hospitals around the country, including CEO and COO.
