Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital has named Jim Burkhart CEO, effective March 4, according to a Tampa Bay Times report.
Mr. Burkhart is currently president and CEO of Shands Jacksonville (Fla.) Medical Center. He will replace Ronald Hytoff, who announced his retirement in June 2012, according to the report.
