Steve Embree, CPA, MBA, CFO at Marquette General Hospital in Marquette, Mich., has been promoted to regional CFO of Marquette (Mich.) General Health System, Ishpeming, Mich.-based Bell Hospital and Hancock, Mich.-based Portage Health, according to ABC News.
"I'm very excited to have this opportunity," Mr. Embree said. "Our leadership team has done a tremendous job positioning our hospitals for growth across the Upper Peninsula. I look forward to providing the financial leadership to drive this growth and expand access to healthcare in our communities."
Mr. Embree has more than 25 years of experience as a CFO in the healthcare industry. He is a certified public accountant with a MBA from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
