South Bay Hospital in Sun City Center, Fla., appointed Daniel Bender permanent CEO.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Bender has served as interim CEO for several months.
2. He was previously COO as well as ethics and compliance officer for the hospital.
3. He has worked at Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, South Bay's parent, since 1997.
4. Mr. Bender earned a juris doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law and a master of healthcare administration degree from University of North Florida, both located in Jacksonville.
