Cleveland-based Sisters of Charity Health System tapped Janice G. Murphy, BSN, MSN, RN, to serve as senior vice president of mission and ministry, effective Nov. 1.
Here are four points:
1. Currently, Ms. Murphy serves as COO of regional hospitals and family health centers for the Cleveland Clinic, a role she has held since 2015.
2. Her previous roles include serving as COO of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City in Abu Dhabi and president of Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital.
3. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
4. The Sisters of Charity Health System owns two hospitals, St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland and Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio.
