Sunrise, Fla.-based Sheridan Healthcare, a hospital-based multispecialty practice management company, has promoted Denise Longman, CPA, to vice president and chief compliance officer and John D'Arpino, CPA, to vice president of tax.
Ms. Longman was previously a consultant with Sheridan. In her new position, she will oversee the compliance and internal audit department and will supervise the execution of Sheridan's annual audit plan.
Mr. D'Arpino joined Sheridan in 2005 as the director of tax. Prior to joining Sheridan, Mr. D'Arpino was a senior tax manager at Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
