West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health named John Gantner president and CEO of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., and Anthony V. Cava, president of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somweville, N.J.
Most recently, Mr. Gantner served as executive vice president and chief integration officer at the 11-hospital RWJBarnabas Health. He has previously served as executive vice president and treasurer of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Before joining RWJBarnabas Health, he was CFO of Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System.
Mr. Cava has served as chief administrative officer at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset since 2015. He came to RWJBarnabas Health from Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, N.J., where he served as COO. His previous roles include serving as vice president of strategic planning/business development and vice president of operations at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, N.J., as well as vice president of operations for Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood, N.J.
Mr. Cava is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
