Steve Erixon has been named interim CEO of Riverton (Wyo.) Memorial Hospital following the resignation of Chris Smolik.
Mr. Erixon previously served as interim CEO of Rainy Lake Medical Center in International Falls, Minn. He has a master's degree in health administration from Duke University in Durham, N.C.
The hospital has launched a national search for a permanent CEO.
The reason for Mr. Smolik's resignation was not reported in the hospital's news release.
