Joe Mark, president and CEO of Redwood Memorial Hospital in Fortuna, Calif., and St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, Calif., both part of St. Joseph Health System in Orange, Calif., has announced his resignation, effective June 30, according to a Times-Standard report.
According to the report, Mr. Mark is resigning to move to the Midwest where he can spend more time with his family.
In 2005, Mr. Mark began his career with St. Joseph Health serving St. Joseph Hospital as a consultant. He was asked to serve as interim CEO of St. Joseph and Redwood Memorial in 2006 and accepted the full-time job later that year.
