President, CEO of Community Hospital Anderson in Indiana Announces Retirement

William C. VanNess, II, MD, has announced plans to retire from his role as president and CEO of Community Hospital Anderson (Ind.), effective Dec. 31, 2012, according to a hospital news release.

Dr. VanNess, who joined the medical staff of Community Hospital Anderson in 1973 as a family practitioner, has served as president and CEO at the hospital since 1997. Hospital leaders hope to find a successor by mid-2012.
