The newly formed health system created by the merger of Provena Health in Mokena, Ill. and Chicago-based Resurrection Health Care, Presence Health, has announced Amy LaFine as president and CEO of Provena St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, Ill., effective immediately.
Ms. LaFine has been serving as interim CEO since late last year. She joined Provena in 1974 as a nurse intern before she went on to serve in roles with progressively more responsibility including vice president of patient care services.
