Harrisburg, Pa.-based PinnacleHealth selected Philip W. Guarneschelli to serve as president and CEO, effective immediately.
Here are five notes:
1. Most recently, Mr. Guarneschelli served as senior vice president and COO at PinnacleHealth.
2. He previously served as interim president and CEO of PinnacleHealth from March 2010 through June 2011.
3. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
4. He replaces Michael Young who unexpectedly resigned last week.
5. Mr. Guarneschelli earned his MBA from Saint Francis DeSales University in Center Valley, Pa.
