Phoebe Putney Health System selects chief HR officer: 3 notes

Albany, Ga.-based Phoebe Putney Health System named Tony Welch senior vice president and chief human resources officer, effective Feb.1, according to the Albany Herald.

1. Mr. Welch is currently chief HR officer at Southeast Health in Dothan, Ala.

2. He has previously worked at health systems in South Carolina, Kentucky, Florida and Alabama.

3. He is a past president of the Alabama Health Care Human Resources Professionals with the Alabama Hospital Association.
