Nyack (N.Y.) Hospital CEO David Freed has resigned, according to a report in The Journal News.
Mr. Freed has been CEO of Nyack Hospital since 2001. His departure comes as the hospital prepares to become part of Bronx, N.Y.-based Montefiore Health System under an affiliation agreement announced this summer.
Vice President of Support Services and CIO John Volanto will replace Mr. Freed as interim CEO while the hospital's board searches for a permanent CEO, according to the report.
