Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., promoted Chad Setliff to president and COO, effective Aug. 12.
Here are five things to know:
1. Throughout Mr. Setliff's career at Novant Health, he has served in numerous leadership roles spanning case management, business planning, cardiology, orthopedics, and stroke and neurosciences.
2. Mr. Setliff most recently served as president and COO of both Novant Health Kernersville (N.C.) Medical Center and Novant Health Clemmons (N.C.) Medical Center.
3. He is a former active-duty officer in the U.S. Army, a member of the American Heroes for North Carolina Board of Directors and sits on the executive board of the Old Hickory Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
4. Mr. Setliff will replace Joanne Allen, who is set to retire, according to The Winston-Salem Journal.
5. Stephen Motew, MD, will remain senior vice president and president of Novant's greater Winston-Salem market.
