Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mount Airy, N.C., has selected E. Timothy Cook as interim CEO, according to a Mount Airy News report.
Mr. Cook is taking over duties for Bill James, who left his position after 19 years to become president of Wake Forest Baptist Health-Lexington (N.C.) Medical Center.
Mr. Cook previously served as president and CEO of Osceola Regional Medical Center in Kissimmee, Fla., and CEO and administrator of Larkin General Hospital in South Miami, Fla.
