Northeast Georgia Medical Center Barrow in Winder selected Heather Standard, BSN, RN, as its new chief nursing officer.

1. Ms. Standard worked at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville for 24 years.
2. Over the years, she has served in numerous managerial roles, including a unit manager and director of women and children's services.
3. She is also a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and Association of Women's Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nurses.
4. She holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from Brenau University in Gainesville.
