James Kirby, II has been appointed the president and CEO of Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, N.C., according to a WHKP news report.
Pardee's Board of Directors expects Mr. Kirby to begin work by Aug. 1. Mr. Kirby, who has more than 20 years of healthcare executive experience, most recently served as senior vice president and chief administrative officer of Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, S.C. He also served at WestCare Health System in Sylva, N.C., as system vice president and administrator and at Richmond Health System in Rockingham, N.C., as vice president of operations, according to the news report.
