Nicholas J. Lanza has been named CFO of East Orange (N.J.) General Hospital, according to Essex News Daily.
Here are four things to know about Mr. Lanza.
1. Mr. Lanza joins EOGH as the hospital prepares for its partnership with Los Angeles-based Prospect Medical Holdings. The hospital announced that it entered into a definitive agreement to partner with Prospect Medical Holdings in May 2014.
2. Mr. Lanza has more than 20 years of hospital and related healthcare financial management expertise and experience.
3. Most recently, he served as CFO of St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, N.J.
4. Prior to his tenure at St. Mary's, he served at numerous other hospitals and healthcare organizations including Elant, a skilled nursing, short-term care and assisted living facility in Goshen, N.Y.; Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, N.Y.; Horizon Practice Management Consultants in Mahwah, N.J.; and Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, Brooklyn, N.Y.
