Montefiore taps dual CFO, chief business officer

Colleen Blye has taken the role of executive vice president, CFO, and chief business officer at New York City-based Montefiore Health System. 

Ms. Blye's previous title was executive vice president and CFO, and she stepped into the new role in the second quarter of 2024, the organization confirmed to Becker's.

During her tenure, her responsibilities have increased to include enterprise finance, payer relations/contracting, revenue cycle, supply chain, and population health/care management, according to Montefiore.

"More recently, she has assumed responsibility for and transformed information technology services," a spokesperson told Becker's. "She has brought in tremendous talent to add digital services and develop leading edge analytics. Colleen also assumed the leadership of our systemwide transformation work to position Montefiore Einstein for growth and sustainability."

As chief business officer, Ms. Blye will focus on driving organizational performance and strategy; partner with physician leaders, Bronx leadership and Hudson Valley leadership to develop, support and execute strategic growth plans for Montefiore's clinical footprint; and work closely with governmental relations on innovative payment models and advocating for fair reimbursement for the most vulnerable populations, according to Montefiore

Ms. Blye joined Montefiore as executive vice president and CFO in 2016. Her previous experience also includes serving as executive vice president and CFO of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, now Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based Catholic Health.
