Mike Dorsey Resigns as Leader of Kansas' Providence Medical Center and St. John Hospital

Mike Dorsey, president and CEO of Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., and St. John Hospital in Leavenworth, Kan., has resigned from his post, according to a Tonganoxie Mirror report.

Mr. Dorsey has left the top spot that the Kansas hospitals to become CEO of Carondelet Health's St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo. He has been at the helm of Providence Medical Center and St. John Hospital since 2007. Randall G. Nyp has been appointed to serve as interim CEO of Providence Medical Center and St. John Hospital until a permanent replacement is found.
