Deborah R. Simon has been promoted to permanent president and CEO of Methodist Medical Center of Illinois in Peoria, which became a senior affiliate of Iowa Health System in October.
Ms. Simon has been interim president and CEO since July. She began her nursing career with Methodist in 1976 and has moved up in senior leadership at the hospital, including the roles of senior vice president and COO/CNO, since 1999.
Ms. Simon replaces Michael Bryant, who served as Methodist's president and CEO for 12 years.
