San Antonio-based Methodist Hospital has named April Tolson, RN, as the chief nursing officer for its upcoming 54-bed Westover Hills location, set to open in 2024.
The new acute care facility will provide internal medicine, family practice, orthopedics, urology, pulmonology, oncology, radiology, cardiology, and maternal-fetal services, according to an Oct. 11 news release.
Ms. Tolson has been with Methodist since 2008 and most recently served as the associate chief nursing officer for Methodist Children’s Hospital and Women’s Services. Prior to that she served as the vice president of surgical services for the hospital.
