Susan Melvin, DO, FAAFP, has been named CMO of Long Beach (Calif.) Memorial Medical Center.
Long Beach Memorial is part of MemorialCare Health System in Fountain Valley, Calif. Dr. Melvin has served as Long Beach Memorial's Associate CMO for the past year. From 1998 to 2011, she was president and CEO of Memorial Family Medicine in Long Beach, Calif., and director of the family residency program. Dr. Melvin has also served on MemorialCare Health System's board of directors and as chair of its physician society from 2009 to 2011.
