Medical West in Bessemer, Ala., has named Keith Pennington CEO. Mr. Pennington has served as the hospital's senior vice president and COO since 2003. His appointment follows the resignation of Tom McDougal Jr. on April 18.
Medical West is part of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Health System.
